About His Practice:
Mr. Hiebert has developed a well-recognized practice in the area of
Municipal law and is currently serving as City Attorney for three rapidly
growing municipalities in the greater Wichita area. He also represents
other cities in special projects such as eminent domain. He has been
a long-time active participant in Kansas League of Municipalities and
a member of Kansas Municipal Attorney's Assocation. Mr. Hiebert has
been practicing for over twenty-six years in the areas of bankruptcy,
probate, and trust law. Some representative clients are the cities of
Kechi, Belle Plaine, Norwich, Kinsley, Udahl, Furley Improvement District,
Sand Castle Professional Child Care, Inc., Superior Housing Inc., Kwik
Wok Inc., and Autohouse Stuttgart Inc.
Professional Profile:
Mr. Hiebert was admitted to the Kansas bar in 1973, after his graduation
from the Kansas University School of Law. In addition to his law practice,
he has also had an extensive history of service to the bar and his community.
He has served on several committees of the Wichita Bar Association including
Law Day. In addition, Mr. Hiebert served as chairman of the Pro Bono
Committee. He also served from 1993 to 1999 on the Board of the Local
Housing Authority for the City of Wichita.
